In emergencies, German nationals can do so outside of the opening times the on-call service of the German diplomatic missions in Canada on the telephone number (+1) 416-953-3817 around the clock.

This number can also be contacted via SMS. Messages are only answered if a real emergency can be identified.

We ask for your understanding that the emergency service cannot answer general inquiries and provide no information about the status of passport or visa applications.

Information on accessibility:

The embassy supports citizens with disabilities and endeavors to make it easier for them to access the employees within the framework of the structural conditions.

Barrier-free access to the service building is located in the embassy courtyard and can be used in special cases by prior arrangement. The lock and all doors in the building are sufficiently wide, but are not barrier-free and have no automatic closer or opener. All floors of the embassy can be reached by elevator, the control buttons of which are provided with Braille. There are no handicapped accessible toilets in the embassy building.
