How many people did Thanos kill

How many living things did Thanos kill in Avengers: Infinity War

Spoiler warning: The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy got it in Infinity War not managed even with combined forces, Thanos to stop. In the grand finale of the film, the insane titan extinguishes with a snap of his fingers half of the universe out.

But how much is half of the Marvel Cinematic Universe exactly? We do know that some of our favorite characters had to believe in it - them true proportions of Thanos' mass murder were only partially apparent.

Reddit user Kenpachitz was particularly vigilant about the previous MCU films: In Thor - The Dark KingdomHeimdall (Idris Elba) explains that thanks to his skills he has over "10 trillion souls" in view. Accordingly, Thanos already has at least 5 trillion - So 5,000,000,000,000 - residents of the nine kingdoms killed.

Of course, you could also be outside the nine known realms even more living things hold up. By the way, Kepachitz's assumption is supported by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) personally: The magician warns that "trillions" will die if Thanos is successful.
